In my opinion, this picture became the turning point of this series, when I became able to take note of my own progress. For years I had this drawing linger in my mind of two foxes lying in each other’s arms. In my own version, a cheetah and a leopard are hugging it out instead. Both are fast cats that like to frequently rest in trees and both have beautiful, similarly patterned for.
