Faraway Fantasies

Following a year full of commission related work in 2022 and a turbulent year in 2023, I wanted to once again continue on my artistic journey. To do this I set my mind on holding another exhibition for October 2024, to showcase the development of my skills. The title of this, my second exhibition, “Faraway Fantasies” features connections to my ever-recurring theme of dreams and imagination, through which I want to offer the opportunity of immersing oneself in the worlds of fantasy.

Part of this exhibition were some of my earlier works in my artistic development, as well as several I created shortly before it began on the 20th of October 2024, including paintings from the “Ayakashi” series. All artworks on display were characterized by the colors black, white, red and gold in particular. Some more colorful motifs, such as those from my “Momentary Dreams” series and other paintings were also represented.

All drawings and paintings which were part of this showcase are archived in my gallery, alongside their respective stories.

Even though the exhibit only lasted a week, my daily presence at the gallery gave me the opportunity to talk with many of its visitors and generate further interest in my website, which I had just newly revised at the time.

Thomas and Polina, the gallery managers, were extremely kind and helpful at every step, from preparation to the on-site support as hosts. I am still grateful for their help. In addition to them, my thanks also go out to all the friends, family and acquaintances who took the time to visit my works and the gallery!
